The Youth on the Move: Let's go global! is an International Conference organized by the Youth & Globalisation Project Team of AEGEE-Europe in collaboration with AEGEE-Maastricht, having the financial support of the European Youth Foundation.

This international Conference seeks to gather 100 active youths from all over Europe in order to explore and act on new efficiently working tools and strategies for promoting a bolder active young citizenship in local communities, thus making globalisation work also at the grass-root level. Indeed, major focus throughout the conference will be made on youth empowerment, peace and stability, intercultural dialogue, social cohesion and sustainable economic development.

Essentially, the Conference will chiefly be based on a multitude of diverse activities, largely concentrating on having workshop sessions, plenary debates and open forum discussions coupled with a series of Open Dialogues with Academics and Experts in the field. Indeed, the Conference is based on a philosophy of democratic participation and intercultural exchange in order to promote the building and strengthening of youth participation and democratic citizenship in an open global society.

Please note that NO applications will be considered if these do not contain any motivation letters. The questions to be answered are the following –

1. Why do you want to participate to this conference?
2. What is the potential of youths today?
3. What are your ideas on any one of the following - peace and stability, intercultural dialogue, social cohesion and sustainable economic development?
