The Agora Election Observation Mission to the Romanian Parliamentary Election 2024 is already taking its final shape. We are pleased to introduce our three Coordinators who took up and embraced challenging tasks.
Logistics Coordinator: Sergi Cuadra Domínguez
Sergi Cuadra Domínguez is a political scientist specializing in international relations, focusing on European foreign policy, post-conflict reconstruction, and human rights. Before pursuing an MA in European Studies at Maastricht University, Sergi gained significant experience through internships with the Government of Catalonia, the OSCE, and the Spanish Ministry of Foreign Affairs. His work spans regions such as the Balkans and the Middle East, where he has contributed to research on transitional justice, election observation, and international cooperation. Fluent in multiple languages and passionate about global affairs, Sergi is committed to advancing peace and development through informed policy-making and collaborative initiatives.
Outreach Coordinator: Frederik Fyrstenberg
Frederik Fyrstenberg is an experienced international election observer. By education a historian and Balkanologist, Frederik is based in Vienna where he works in public relations and education. His expertise spans from the field of border studies and national minorities to food studies. He has been active in different cross-border cooperations in the Balkans and in Central Europe. Most recently Frederik has been involved in a documentary filmmaking project in Kosovo.
Research Coordinator: Anna Dennis
Anna Denis is an international electoral expert based in Kyiv, Ukraine. Anna has been working with different international organizations focusing on elections for over a decade. Anna’s areas of expertise include election administration and operations, strategic planning, out-of-country voting, and gender.
Anna Denis is the author and co-author of a series of publications, including the research on youth wings of political parties in Ukraine and guidelines for organizing and conducting election and referenda administration training sessions. She possesses a Master’s Degree in Law and a PhD in Philosophy.
Anna was granted a state Honorary Diploma for duly conducted the 2020 Local Elections in Ukraine when she served as a member of the Kyiv City Territorial Election Commission.
