From the 10th of September until the 24th September, ‘Beyond Europe’ and the Social Justice Coalition will send people to South-Africa for a case study trip regarding the United Nations Millennium Development Goals. More information will follow later on. From the 23th of June to the 13th of July, ‘Beyond Europe’ will, in close cooperation with AIESEC-Baroda and the Gujarat Public School, send participants to India for a case study trip concerning the United Nations’ Millennium Development Goals. The applications for the case study trip to India from the 23th of June until the 13th of July are open! Applications are accepted from January 1st until February 13th. In 2001, world leaders under the umbrella of the United Nations – about 192 states and 23 international organizations – agreed to step in when it comes to the world’s development. They agreed on eight so-called ‘Millennium Development Goals’ to be achieved in 2015.
